WOOD REPAIR AND TOUCH UP REFINISHING
This complete dinning room set was all light cherry
We two toned it by adding the black, which help it fit the customer's decor. Another angle of the room
This little rocker was this little girls great Great-grandmothers
She wanted it to fit into her room decor (Pastels, 4 colors used on chair before white crackle finished was applied and clear coated) Also the rush was replaced on this seat.
This cherry dinning room table and chairs had many years of wear and tear. Customer was ready to throw away. This was solid cherry.
This platform rocker was this Customers Grandmothers who did the needlepoint work on seat and inside back. There was a pink piece of velvet on the back. Rocker base was warped and board under the front of the seat was dry rotten.
We had to remove the needlepoint and replace front seat rail. We painted the chair a gold tone as seen here for the base coat.
Then we did a white crackle over the gold, remember the pink vevet. We replaced it with a piece of leather that was finished to match the chair and use the matching gimp trim around it.
We re-installed all the needlepoint and cleaned it (This was done so it wouldn’t shrink due to it being wool) Then put on the gimp trim.
What a wonderful piece
This Maple Chest. We refinished, it was the old cherry color and very worn.
